Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Human Factors Design EngineerJob ID: 24532Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite – 4 days/week)Duration: 12 MonthsPay Rate: $85–$90/hr (W2)Start Date: Target June 1 (may start earlier)

Top Required Skills

Experience with Use-Related Risk Analysis (URRA) and critical task definition/tracing
Usability study design & execution (validation studies)
Strong experience in moderating usability studies + root cause analysis of use errors

Key Responsibilities

Update and maintain Human Factors risk documentation (URRA, Use Specification)
Design, write, and execute usability validation protocols/studies
Conduct data analysis, reporting, and usability study report writing
Identify and assess use-related risks and support product development lifecycle
Collaborate with design, engineering, and cross-functional teams
Ensure compliance with human factors and regulatory standards

Product Focus

Class III implantable neurostimulators (medical devices)

Experience & Education

3–10 years of Human Factors / Usability Engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Human Factors, Engineering, or related field

Key Skills

Human factors engineering & risk analysis
Usability testing & validation
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Experience in medical device or regulated environment preferred
