Job Description Summary
The Senior Systems & Capability Leader acts as the critical bridge between Product Management strategy and operational execution. The role will lead a team of employees and contractors owning the tools, systems and governance processes that empower our teams to perform. This team is also responsible for supporting the financial rigor and benefits realization with the business lines. By managing the development and deployment of enterprise tools (e.g., Rise, Wave, IBAT), this role ensures consistent operational efficiency and the successful attainment of business objectives.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Facilitate the integration of new systems functionalities with current and future product management infrastructure
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Finance, IT, Global Supply Chain) to maintain a harmonized data management infrastructure, emphasizing existence of single source of truth in all areas
- Identify and implement solutions that enhance responsiveness, lead time reduction, and quality improvement across the product management team
- Performance Tracking; ensuring accuracy in EAC (Estimate at Completion) and PPV (Purchase Price Variance) across programs
- Actively manage and track the realization of financial benefits generated by initiatives and programs, providing clear visibility to business line leadership
- Oversee resource estimates for key initiatives, ensuring data integrity and alignment with portfolio goals
- Collaborate with IT resources and contractors to ensure a coordinated approach to systems and tools development and maintenance
- Develop and implement new processes in partnership with data owners to prioritize data requiring additional scrutiny, ensuring robust management of installed base data and ongoing data quality improvement
- Facilitate continuous improvement of Product Line Financials (PLF) and ensure ongoing communication of PLF to Product Management teams
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align system functionalities with business objectives and drive continuous improvement around data quality and simplification
- Enhance analytics capabilities to support strategic decision-making and effective management of R&D programs
- Design and deliver comprehensive training and coaching programs to ensure team proficiency in core applications and methodologies
- Drive operational excellence by supporting Lean and other continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)
- Proven related working operational experience
- Experience in leading in a matrix environment
- Ability and willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally as needed, up to 25% of the time and must comply with all relevant company travel and tax policies

- Effectively communicates, providing recommendations through the analysis, preparation, and presentation of information to all levels of the organization
- Sets realistic objectives, accurately appraises situations, detects risks and issues, provides constructive feedback, and adapts seamlessly to changes in priorities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
