The Sr Product Manager is responsible for the recommendation of new products and services, and the product life cycle of existing products and services, owned by the Payment and Deposit Product team at Mountain America Credit Union. SCHEDULE

To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.
·Manages overall roadmap for products and services owned by the Payment & Deposit Product team, as directed by the VP of Payment & Deposit Products.
·Provides leadership on all product initiatives by ensuring procedures are followed and recommendations are properly vetted prior to review and approval.
·Takes the lead on product initiatives that may require more than one product manager to accomplish overall objectives. Assigns tasks and responsibilities to other product managers as needed on shared initiatives.
·Recommends changes to products and services to align with organizational strategy, membership needs and product performance goals.
·Directs the development and enhancements of assigned payment and deposit products and services which may include credit cards, debit cards, ATMs, checking, certificates, and IRA accounts and services.
·Responsible for assigned KPIs and success metrics including profitability, satisfaction scores, etc. for assigned products and services.
·Maintains a deep understanding of products and features, making decisions about what will and will not be built into a product throughout its lifecycle, consistent with direction from leadership team.
·Distills themes from member and channel partner feedback, analytics, Mountain America’s strategic/financial goals and the competitive landscape.
·Owns individual projects from idea to product delivery.
·Takes responsibility for defining detailed product requirements and ensures that the product meets the needs of membership, business, and adoption targets.
·Collaborates with business stakeholders, members, and vendors on any aspect of product management as needed to ensure successful delivery of product.
·Analyzes product and member behaviors and their trends to identify opportunities for product enhancements. Makes data driven decisions.
·Works with designers, project managers, developers, architects, quality control, marketers, and internal communications to create functional specifications, copy and/or mockup, prototypes and training materials that support successful launch of new products and enhancements.
·Maintains relationships and communication with key partners and third parties.
·Ensures transparency and communication of upcoming changes to the roadmap and deliver across all key stakeholders.
·Has ownership for product performance and quality standards that directly impact member experience and profitability.
·Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
·Masters degree preferred. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, economics or related filed OR additional four years of product management experience required.
·Eight years of successful product management experience with business-to-consumer product.
·Five years of demonstrated experience with payment, card, and deposit related products and services.
·Experience and proven ability to build products from ideation to launch and successfully manage legacy products throughout lifecycle, implementation to phasing out.
·Experience working with large payments and/or financial services organization (preferred).
Licenses, Certifications, Registrations
·PMP Certification preferred
·Product Management Certifications preferred
Computer/Office Equipment Skills
·Advanced level skill for Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office Suite products.
·Working knowledge of analytics and business intelligence software such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
·Working knowledge of project management tools and software.
Managerial Responsibility
Has no supervisory or direct report responsibility.
Communication Skills
·Demonstrated ability to clearly express ideas, methodology, results, and recommendations verbally, in writing, and through insightful reports and graphic illustrations.
·Demonstrated ability to document outcomes and present information in a manner appropriate for key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Other Skills and Abilities
·Experience and knowledge of best practices, trends, and innovation in payments and card services (strongly preferred)
·Proven understanding and working knowledge of product and life-cycle management disciplines, techniques, practices, and methodologies.
·Strong financial acumen and analytical skills including a demonstrated understanding of product profitability and pricing analysis.
·Demonstrated experience creating business cases, ROI calculations, success metrics for products and services.
·Self-starter with strong organization and time management skills. Proven ability to work productively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and timelines.
·Comfortable working with remote team members through technology.
