About the team and role:

The Finance Innovation & Transformation (FIT) team is eBay Finance's newest organization, created to serve the CFO's strategic priorities of improving Finance efficiency, scalability, control, and decision quality through process modernization, automation, and AI. We identify high-impact opportunities, design scalable solutions, and embed them into day-to-day workflows across teams globally. We have a robust roadmap of projects to reduce manual work, standardize recurring processes, and enable more real-time, data-driven insights.

This critical project management role acts as the centralized execution bridging layer for our portfolio of AI and automation initiatives. It partners closely with business stakeholders in Finance (e.g., Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Treasury) and internal and external technical teams to drive structured delivery of solutions from concept through adoption. The role does not build or develop models. It ensures the end-to-end process is well-defined, coordinated, and delivered with impact by aligning priorities, leading execution, and enabling adoption across the organization. Success means actively being responsible for the project management across the portfolio, especially for larger and more complex projects, to be able to streamline and focus the design and development teams' efforts. This requires critical thinking and hands-on facilitation, not just passive intermediation.

This is a high-visibility role working on priority initiatives to AI-invent the future of work at eBay with direct exposure to senior Finance leadership. You will have the opportunity to shape technology-enabled transformation of core business processes and drive measurable impact at scale.

What you will accomplish

• Lead end-to-end program management for AI and automation initiatives across intake, problem framing, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch optimization

• Collaborate with the FIT Intelligent Transformation team to translate business problems in Finance into structured work plans, user story, requirements, achievements, and execution plans

• Partner with business, development, and vendor teams to coordinate solution design and delivery

• Implement and improve Agile/Scrum or other delivery frameworks to define and track achievements, dependencies, risks, issues, and success metrics across multiple workstreams to meet delivery timelines

• Establish efficient operating rhythms, stage gates, and documentation to support AI solution delivery

• Contribute to rollout, training, communications and adoption planning to ensure solutions are actually used and sustained

• Support the FIT Intelligent Transformation team on hypercare to monitor post-launch performance and coordinate iteration based on feedback and outcomes

• Drive alignment among both technical and non-technical partners and keep initiatives moving without unnecessary process overhead

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience running complex, ambiguous projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies in highly matrixed organizations

• Deep technical program management and cross-functional execution skills with comfort operating in transformation environments

• Enough AI/automation fluency to manage the lifecycle and ask the right questions, without needing to design or build models yourself

• Working knowledge of finance functions and processes such as FP&A, accounting, reporting, or operational finance

• Ability to turn complex business problems into clear workstreams, timelines, and deliverables

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiences

• Experience supporting change management, including training, launch planning, and adoption tracking

• Experience using tools such as Airtable, Jira, and Tableau dashboards to track program execution, run workflows, and report on progress, risks, and business impact metrics

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

145,000-165,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
