It’s a career where you have the support, balance, and resources to make a positive impact on the future – including your own.As a Sr QA Automation Analyst you’ll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by joining a dynamic group of Analysts, Developers and Product Owners while collaborating with other Technology teams. Your colleagues will include fellow technology professionals, and your role will include being responsible for ensuring software quality through manual and automated testing.

We’re actively seeking a talented Sr QA Automation Analyst to join our Technology Annuity Administration team in either our Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE office.

How you’ll help move us forward:

  • Executing manual and exploratory testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage to drive proper delivery outcomes
  • Managing defect tracking, triaging, and resolution processes, working closely with development teams
  • Developing and maintain test automation frameworks for functional, regression, API, and performance testing
  • Driving early and continuous testing throughout the software development lifecycle, adopting agile testing methodologies and ensuring early defect detection in the development lifecycle
  • Maintaining documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
  • Analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action
  • Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
  • Working independently and receiving moderate guidance

The experience you bring:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance & Quality Engineering.
  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in manual testing, test case design, and defect management
  • Strong experience with test automation frameworks
  • Experience with CI/CD integration and DevOps practices
  • Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

  • Previous experience with testing mainframe applications
  • Familiar with technologies like API’s, Web Services, AI, Python, .NET

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$113,490.00 - $138,710.00
