Job Description
Site Safety and Health Officer for Military Projects - Hawaii
Local Construction Company is looking for a motivated and hard-working SSHO.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a SSHO on military projects preferred but not required.
- Documented safety training as competent person.
- EM385-1-1, OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid (Employer will provide additional training if necessary).
- Must currently possess the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) Certification.
Individual must have a strong commitment to Safety and Quality.
Competitive Salary Dependent on Experience.
Preference will be given to individuals with experience in individual or multiple trades. Some of the required skills are:
- Good Communication Skills.
- Management Skills.
- Problem Solving.
- Self-motivation.
- Familiar with computer (MS Office, Outlook, adobe).
