We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our manufacturing team. This pivotal role requires a proficient professional to oversee financial transactions, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support our manufacturing operations. Position Summary:

Process, control, and reconcile various functions that fall under the realm of accounting and inventory.

Responsibilities:

Perform daily cash receipts
Collections and credit
Quarterly sales and use tax
Assist with annual plan process including sales and operational planning, operating budgets and updating labor and overhead rates
Responsible for providing various financial reports which accurately calculate and reconcile reserves, cost allocations, etc.
Assist with annual financial audits
Prepare and post journal entries
Prepare account balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare reports detailing monthly expenses by cost center
Assist in other financial functions as needed.

Skills:

Detail oriented, ability to work in team environment
Ability to multi-task efficiently
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience:

BS Degree in Accounting
0-4 years experience in an accounting role
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Excel
Experience with an ERP operating system preferred. Oracle preferred
