Job Description
Staff AccountantPay Range: $65,000 - $72,000 per hour, based on experienceLanco Integrated is a leading manufacturer of custom equipment for production automation and a builder of flexible turnkey assembly systems. With machines installed in over 30 countries, Lanco has extensive experience in the construction of special-purpose equipment as well as the integration of industrial robots and other commercially available automation products. We provide custom automation solutions for industries including medical devices, consumer products, defense, electronics, and industrial manufacturing.Lanco Integrated is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for a professional looking to build hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment, working cross functionally with partners throughout the company as part of a team of experienced finance leaders.The Staff Accountant reports directly to the Accounting Manager.Key Responsibilities
- Support the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations with resolution of variances.
- Support inventory and work-in-process (WIP) tracking and reconciliations
- Payroll processing and related reporting
- Partner with project managers to support project setup and basic financial tracking
- Assist with audit preparation and financial reporting activities
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements and support ad hoc projects as needed.
- Additional exposure to AP/AR
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a mid-size organization
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Payroll processing experience
- Strong Excel skills, including use of formulas and pivot tables
- Exposure to an ERP system preferred
- Manufacturing accounting exposure is a plus but not required
- Demonstrates proactive initiative and a willingness to take ownership of tasks while seeking opportunities to support additional projects and responsibilities.
- Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Be comfortable asking questions, learning new systems, and participating in a collaborative team projects.
