Probate Advance is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our exceptional team and growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a quick learner with an analytical mindset, looking to advance his or her career while working in a rewarding, intimate, team-oriented environment.

This position is based out of Probate Advance’s Rye Brook, NY office.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with the preparation of accounting/financials
• Manages client fundings and cash inflows/outflows
• Creates and manages new invoices
• Assists with operations due diligence tasks as needed
• Gains understanding of the legal aspects of probate and probate court filings
• Reviews and prepares expense reports
• Process vendor invoices and statements
• Complete audit requests
• Assists with month-end reconciliations
• Collaborates with parent company accounting team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Accounting experience preferred
• Accounts Payable and/or Cash Management a plus
• Must understand basic accounting and have strong Excel and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment
• Must be a team player
• Netsuite knowledge preferred
• Business Central Dynamics 365 knowledge

• Must be able to work in-office at our Rye Brook, NY office
