Job Description
OverviewWe’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team! Our firm is experiencing rapid growth, creating numerous opportunities for career advancement. - Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Analyze cash flow to assess liquidity and forecast future financial needs.
- Utilize various accounting platforms to manage client accounts and financial reporting.
- Participate in budgeting processes and provide insights for effective resource allocation.
- Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records through standard bookkeeping practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial audits.
- Engage with clients and offer expert guidance, providing strategic insights and recommendations on their current and future financial performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with cash flow analysis techniques.
- Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear reporting and collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial documentation.
- Degree in accounting or related field is a plus.
- 1-3 years experience in accounting.
- CPA preferred but not required.
