We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Staff Accountant will provide general administrative support to the management team assisting with day-to-day tasks and data entry. This in an important role in the organization that will require service, tact, diplomacy, and a professional approach to the job.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Financial Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreate and present weekly and monthly financial reporting to the General ManagerMaintain financial records and general ledger
Cash handling, bank deposits and reconciliation
Collections and Accounts ReceivableAccounts Payable, Receivable and Journal EntriesPoint of Sale reconciliation
Prepare monthly Expense Reports and month end close
Administrative Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintains record keeping Provides administrative support related to contracts, certificates of insurance, W9 forms, etc.Provide excellent customer service to visitors and callers by resolving information requests, directing to the appropriate parties or taking messages Perform general office duties, such as ordering office supplies, maintaining database systems, and distributing mail Other duties as assigned by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Degree in accounting, finance, business or related field preferred (or acceptable experience in lieu of degree)2-4 years of related experience
Must have experience in accrual accounting
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
Must have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Experience using Quick Books and Dynamics (preferred)Well organized and thorough with the ability to multi-taskMust have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills
Team approach to task completionWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 20-40 pounds waist high
May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend into awkward positions while performing job functions
Must comply with safety and health code standards
Facility has intermittent noise
