Staff Accountant II

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Staff Accountant II who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, and being part of a collaborative team environment. • Process and support Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable, invoicing, cash applications, bank reconciliations, and collections activities 

• Prepare account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve reconciliation items 

• Participate in month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting 

• Prepare and support standard daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and schedules 

• Maintain accurate general ledger and accounting records 

• Perform inventory accounting and reporting activities 

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis 

• Assist with internal and external audits 

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies 

• Collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams to support business objectives 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Two (2) + years of progressive accounting experience
• Proven experience with AP, AR, account reconciliations, and general accounting
• Experience supporting month‑end close and financial reporting   
• Working knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices
• Experience using ERP or financial accounting systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build positive working relationships across the organization

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial accounting experience 

• Inventory accounting experiences 

• Experience working in a growth-oriented business environment
