The US Construction Team delivers complex, high‑value semiconductor facilities that enable advanced manufacturing at scale. They partner closely with engineering, operations, and external contractors to meet aggressive schedules while maintaining safety, quality, and constructability.
The Staff Civil Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for civil engineering execution across U.S. semiconductor construction projects. This role owns civil scope from early design through construction, drives timely decisions, and ensures civil systems are buildable, coordinated, and aligned with construction sequencing and site execution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead civil engineering scope for large semiconductor campus and fab construction projects.
- Direct grading, drainage, stormwater, paving, and underground utility design and execution.
- Manage A/E civil work from concept through IFC and services during construction.
- Provide technical leadership for civil RFIs, submittals, field issues, and constructability reviews.
- Identify and mitigate civil risks, subsurface conflicts, and site constraints early.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in civil design and construction on large industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of site development, drainage, and underground utilities.
- Experience managing A/E firms and coordinating with construction teams.
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions in fast‑paced project environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Semiconductor fab or advanced manufacturing project experience.
- Experience in EPCM or Design‑Build delivery models.
- Proficiency with BIM and coordination tools such as Civil 3D, Revit, or Navisworks.
- Experience supporting construction using platforms such as Procore.
