Staff Pharmacist Needed for both Retail & LTC, Min. 1 yr Exp Pref.

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team!  We have the benefit of having both Retail and LTC under one roof.  We are looking for a Fulltime or Parttime Pharmacist that really enjoys their career to fill in that role.  As a Retail Pharmacist, you will be receiving incoming prescriptions, reviewing them for accuracy, and filling them with the correct medicine and dose. You will also be talking with other healthcare practitioners.  Consulting customers by explaining their medications, possible side effects and advising them on medication storage.  It's important to maintain a safe, clean work environment. The ideal Pharmacist candidate is knowledgeable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is familiar with pharmaceutical best practices.  As a LTC pharmacist, you should be comfortable working in an environment where your customers include working with care-home staff, care-home owners, other healthcare providers especially nurses and MDs.  Consulting is an additional service we provide to our SNF facilities.  Understanding the hospice business, knowing what their needs involve and getting their patients medications within a timely manner.  We do provide training to all our staff so they are set up for success.
