Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a highly accomplished and forward-thinking Senior Product Manager to lead a critical customer engagement focused on open networking solutions for AI infrastructure. This role requires a strong blend of technical depth, customer leadership, and program execution skills to drive innovation and deliver high-quality outcomes. The Senior Product Manager will be accountable for strategic customer engagement, working closely with customer engineering teams on technical architecture & advancements, product quality, and engineering metrics. This role requires close collaboration with global internal and external stakeholders and frequent interaction with senior executives, major customers, and product marketing teams. The individual may also represent the company in public speaking engagements, industry forums, and community events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary product and technical leader for strategic customer engagements, developing a deep understanding of customer business objectives, technical challenges, and success criteria.
  • Lead customer collaboration to define product requirements, solution scope, and milestones aligned with overall product strategy.
  • Develop and deliver a clear strategy and partner closely with marketing, engineering, and business development to provide a complete networking solutions to customers.
  • Architect and guide the design of innovative solutions leveraging emerging networking technologies for AI and high-performance infrastructure.
  • Engage with customers at various levels including senior executives, engineering, and product marketing to convey our capabilities and vision, and understand their challenges and requirements.
  • Define and track product success metrics such as customer adoption, satisfaction, and business impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize deliverables and drive execution with minimal supervision.
  • Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to achieve program objectives.
  • Proactively manage customer escalations and ensure timely, professional resolution.
  • Provide product training and enablement for internal teams, sales organizations, and customers

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of relevant experience, including significant experience in complex system development and customer-facing technical or program leadership roles in networking industry.
  • 10+ years of experience in product architecture and engineering with a proven track record of delivering complex hardware and software solutions in Data-Center / Enterprise networking business.
  • In-depth knowledge of data center networking architectures, emerging technologies, and industry trends, with the ability to influence product roadmap decisions.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to build business cases, define value propositions, and measure product success.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively at the executive level.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into technical and program strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities, fostering collaborative and high-performing cross functional teams.
  • Strong commitment to quality and delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with customers and internal teams and to manage conflict constructively

Salary Range

$187,000 - $215,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
