What You Will Do to Change Lives
Provides clinical leadership and consultation to inpatient staff, persons served, and families. Provides direct services to persons served, community consultation and assessment of assigned persons. Provides education and support to persons served and their families. Coordinates service needs and collaborates with other services and agencies as necessary and appropriate. Completes in vivo screenings and assessments of persons served as needed and recommended by the interdisciplinary team. The Staff Psychologist shall also be responsible for any psychological testing required for specific persons served. In addition, the Staff Psychologist shall assume the Licensed Independent Practitioner role and shall function as a member of the facility medical/clinical staff and a credentialed provider in the program.

Compensation
Employee wage range - $64.45 - $79.60 / hourly plus $ 450 bonus per facility each month for oversight support. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance.
This is for our Joint Commission PHFs, including Willow Rock, Heritage, and Santa Cruz facilities. The individual in this role will receive a bonus of $450 per facility each month for oversight support. Additionally, they will be involved in conducting assessments or testing for neurocognitive disorders, and administering a battery of tests to differentiate diagnoses when needed, which might occur a few times a year.
What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)
- PH.D. in clinical psychology or a related field and licensed as a Psychologist in California
- A valid driver's license, DMV clearance and proof of insurance are required.
- Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
- Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc. (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate)
