Job Description

100% Onsite

Responsibilities

" Perform visual inspections and measurements on incoming materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Materials will include both refractory and sheet metal.

" Identify and report any non-conformances or deviations from quality standards to the appropriate personnel.

" Conduct regular inspections of production processes to monitor quality control parameters and identify areas for improvement.

" Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

" Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records and documentation.

" Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.

" Support the department s safety initiatives, apply knowledge of industrial safety standards, and identify health hazards.

Required Skills

" Able to interpret technical documentation (e.g. specifications, design prints, SOPs, etc.)

" Proficient in using hand measurement tools and equipment.

" Strong knowledge of quality control methods, practices, and procedures.

" High attention to detail.

" Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

" Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

" Proficient with MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Desired Skills

" Previous manufacturing experience

" Metal fabrication and welding knowledge

" Metrology experience (e.g. CMM, vision systems, 3D scanning, etc.)

" Solidworks/CAD understanding
