We are seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Staffing Coordinator to join our skilled nursing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in helping a facility run smoothly. As the Staffing Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring our residents receive consistent, high-quality care by supporting staffing operations and maintaining accurate schedules.

What You’ll Do
- Create, update, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules for nursing and support departments
- Monitor call-offs, attendance, and staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
- Communicate promptly with department leaders regarding staffing needs, open shifts, and schedule changes
- Support new hire onboarding by preparing schedules, updating rosters, and assisting with orientation logistics
- Maintain accurate schedules, and attendance documentation
- Respond to staff questions regarding schedules and shift availability
- Collaborate with HR, nursing leadership, and department managers to support staffing strategies and managing PPD according to facility metrics.
- Provide excellent customer service to staff, residents, and families
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support smooth facility operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active CNA/CMT certification (required)
- Experience in staffing, scheduling, or healthcare administration preferred
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus
- Strong computer skills and comfort with technology
- Ability to work flexible hours when needed to support staffing needs
