Job Requirements:

Experience & Background

  • Minimum of two (2) years of staffing or workforce coordination experience required; healthcare, senior living, or hospitality environment strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience staffing 24/7 operations across three shifts per day.
  • Experience supporting multiple departments simultaneously in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Core Responsibilities & Competencies

  • Oversee daily staffing for:
    • Caregiver Services (Assisted Living & Memory Care)
    • Food & Beverage (front of house & back of house)
  • Review and screen candidates for open positions in collaboration with department directors.
  • Anticipate upcoming staffing gaps based on PTO requests, availability trends, turnover patterns, census fluctuations, and seasonal demand.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate overtime exposure through schedule optimization and workforce planning.
  • Develop and maintain a reliable pool of on-call and per diem staff to ensure operational continuity.
  • Partner effectively with multiple department directors to align staffing levels with budgeted FTEs and service standards.
  • Maintain accurate staffing rosters and ensure real-time schedule updates.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in staffing and scheduling software required; experience with ONShift strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of labor management principles, including FTE budgeting and overtime controls.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite of tools.
