Overview

Abacus Staffing is seeking a motivated Staffing Specialist to support high-volume recruiting for light industrial positions. This role is ideal for someone who excels at recruiting, client communication, and building strong relationships in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, placing, and supporting employees while delivering exceptional service to clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting for warehouse, manufacturing, and production positions.
Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach.
Conduct interviews, screenings, onboarding, and orientation activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and hiring managers.
Provide timely staffing updates and ensure client workforce needs are met.
Maintain candidate pipelines to support high-volume hiring demands.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records in the ATS and prepare recruiting reports.
Support candidates and clients with professionalism and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

2+ years of staffing or recruiting experience, preferably in light industrial environments.
Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with ATS platforms, job boards, and Microsoft Office.
Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus (Spanish strongly preferred).
Staffing agency experience preferred.
