Job Description

Department Overview:The Accounting team at STARZ is responsible for producing financial statements including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements. We work closely with our internal and external auditors to ensure we are following Generally Accepted Accounting Principals.The Role:This role will have exposure to a number of areas in the accounting department including: fixed assets, program license fees, and vendor setups for accounts payable. This role may have some exposure to the related accounting work of a company spinoff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare programming payments and validate against agreements
• Record license fees and payment terms in IBMS database for new programming deals
• Prepare month end accruals
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Set up new vendors in SAP

Skills

• Basic knowledge of Accounting (prefer an intern who is close to completing or has recently completed a B.S. in Accounting)
• Intermediate excel skills

Compensation DataThe pay rate for this internship is $20/hr.

Important Dates

The STARZ Summer 2026 Internship program dates are: June 15, 2026 – August 21, 2026

All interns are required to attend orientation on Monday, June 15, 2026.

Details

• Regular business hours are 9 AM – 6 PM Monday-Thursday and Friday 9 AM – 1 PM
• Interns must not work more than 36 hours per week
• Interns must be enrolled in a college or university and classified as rising juniors or seniors
• Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
• All internships are paid
