This role involves assessing patients, administering medications, and responding rapidly to any changes or cardiac emergencies. It also involves working closely with the healthcare team and educating patients to manage their heart health.Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience required.
- Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions.
- 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required.
- Certificates Required: AHA ACLS and BLS, NIH required. Med and arrhythmia exam required.
- State license
- First time travelers accepted.
- Skills: IV therapy/Phlebotomy – Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs
- Work Settings: Cardiac Telemetry, Telemetry, Respiratory, Nasal Cannula, Neurological/Psychiatric
- Medications: Heparin Protocols, PCA, Titrate Cardiac Drips
- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry – on unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
- Strong Cardiac Stepdown needed.
- Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
