Position Overview

The Lab Support Pharmacy Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our day to day sterile lab operations and receive exposure to various workflows within our organization. This role is designed to provide comprehensive training and hands-on experience for individuals interested in pursuing a career in a compounding pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the sterile lab by cleaning lab beakers and equipment, calibrating beakers, wrapping beakers, using ovens and autoclaves, labeling vials, restocking labs and other duties as assigned
• Ensures adequate stock levels of laboratory supplies 
• Routinely checks for outdated or soon to expire chemicals

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Hold a FL Pharmacy technician license
• Ability to work efficiently in a timely manner
• Close attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be capable of donning and wearing all protective wear as required by procedure for each area. This includes, but not limited to: mask, gloves, lab coat, coveralls, hairnet, safety goggles and shoe covers
• Must be capable of lifting and moving items, including ingredients, weighing up to 50 pounds

• Demonstrates a keen eye for detail in tasks such as labeling, packaging, and document creation
