What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment using CensiTrac system
  • Operate sterilization equipment such as Sterrad and Ultrasonic machines (CaviWave, Medisafe, Belimed)
  • Ensure adherence to infection control standards and hospital policies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes
  • Assist in inventory management and supply handling
  • Support surgical teams by ensuring all sterile supplies are ready and accessible
  • Follow safety protocols and participate in ongoing training
What You NeedRequired:
  • Valid CRCST or CSPDT certification
  • Minimum 3 years of hospital-based sterile processing experience at Level I or II
  • Proficiency with CensiTrac system
  • Experience with sterilizers, Sterrad, ultrasonic equipment (CaviWave, Medisafe, Belimed)
Preferred:
  • Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
About the AssignmentThis role is based at a busy surgical department within a reputable hospital in New Orleans. You will be responsible for sterilizing surgical instruments, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting surgical teams with reliable, sterile equipment.
