Job Summary: We are looking for a Steward/Dishwasher to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand. The Steward/Dishwasher will maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Proven experience as a Steward/Dishwasher or similar role.- Knowledge of sanitation regulations.- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.- Good communication skills.- Attention to detail.Responsibilities:- Load, run, and unload dish machine.- Wash specific items by hand, such as pots or pans.- Store clean equipment, dishes, or other items in designated areas.- Sweep and mop kitchen floors.- Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and equipment.Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand for long periods.- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.- Ability to bend, kneel, and reach.Work Environment:- Fast-paced kitchen environment.- Exposure to hot and humid conditions.- May be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
