You'll lead by example, support your team, and ensure every aspect of the business operates efficiently and compliantly.Leadership & Team DevelopmentRecruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop dispensary staff
Coach, mentor, and motivate employees through regular feedback and performance management
Conduct performance reviews, corrective action, and development planning
Create employee schedules that balance customer service, labor efficiency, and operational needs
Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative workplace culture
Operations & ComplianceOversee all daily retail operations, including sales, inventory, customer service, and merchandising
Maintain strict compliance with company policies, state cannabis regulations, and licensing requirements
Ensure the facility remains audit-ready through regular operational, inventory, and compliance reviews
Lead store meetings and communicate company initiatives, operational updates, and performance expectations
Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and product launches
Financial & Business PerformanceDrive sales growth while managing payroll, labor, and operating expenses
Analyze KPIs, sales trends, labor metrics, and financial reports to improve performance
Review cash handling procedures, reconciliations, deposits, and financial reporting
Partner with regional leadership to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and profitability
Maintain accurate inventory controls and loss prevention practices
Customer ExperienceDeliver an exceptional customer experience through outstanding service standards
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
Ensure the dispensary remains clean, organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing
Lead from the sales floor and provide support in any operational role when business needs require
What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is an experienced retail leader who enjoys developing people, improving operations, and driving measurable results.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of retail management experience, with at least 2 years in cannabis retail leadership preferred
Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams
Strong knowledge of cannabis compliance, inventory control, and retail operations
Experience managing labor, payroll, budgets, and financial performance
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Preferred SkillsExperience with METRC, Dutchie, or other cannabis retail platforms
Experience preparing for or leading regulatory inspections
Proven ability to improve sales performance and operational metrics
Multi-unit or high-volume retail experience is a plus
Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred
Must satisfy all applicable state cannabis employment requirements, including background screening and required licensing or agent registration
