Store Manager Trainee

A Dollar Tree Store Manager drives profitability, manages daily operations, and leads team development to ensure high customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Staffing: Recruit, hire, train, and develop store associates, fostering a positive, productive work environment.
• Operations Management: Oversee daily activities including opening/closing, cash handling, and compliance with safety and company regulations.
• Merchandising & Inventory: Implement corporate merchandising directives, maintain high standards for store appearance, and manage stock levels to maximize sales.
• Financial Performance: Drive sales and control expenses to meet or exceed profit goals.
• Customer Service: Maintain a welcoming environment, ensuring high levels of customer service across the store.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Retail management experience is preferred.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. (occasionally 55 lbs.) and perform tasks such as standing, walking, stooping, and kneeling.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
