Storeroom Attendant - Integrated Supply

Job Title: Storeroom Attendant Location: Kalamazoo, MI 49001Duration: 3 Months (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)Pay Rate: $18.50/hourShift Timings: Monday –Friday | 6: 30 AM –3: 00 PMJob Description: The Storeroom Attendant will support daily warehouse and inventory operations at the customer site. The role involves receiving, stocking, issuing materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and delivering parts to production areas. This position requires frequent walking throughout the facility, handling inventory items, and using a scanner system to track parts movement.Key Responsibilities:

• Collect empty bins from production lines and refill them with materials such as rivets, screws, bolts, and other components.
• Deliver replenished bins back to production areas.
• Use barcode scanners to issue parts and maintain inventory records.
• Receive, unload, inspect, label, and store incoming products and materials.
• Organize inventory in bins, shelves, racks, and storage areas.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks.
• Put away materials in the crib and production floor areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storeroom environment.
• Identify damaged, missing, or misplaced inventory and report issues.
• Provide support with warehouse-related tasks as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ months of warehouse, material handling, logistics, or inventory experience preferred.
• Experience with picking, packing, loading/unloading, or stocking materials.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems/scanners.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety procedures, and inventory documents.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally without assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move around the facility for extended periods.
• Steel-toe shoes required.
• Long hair must be tied back.
• Must follow dress code: long pants and t-shirt/polo shirt (no sweatpants or drawstrings).

Education Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Relevant warehouse training or experience is a plus.
