Job Description

Description

Under direct supervision, responsible for receiving, storing, issuing and delivering supplies and equipment.

Core Competencies

  • Completes the necessary paperwork and notes discrepancies according to departmental procedure.
  • Receives incoming supplies and verifies that the merchandise received matches the packing list, requisition, and purchase order.
  • Stocks shelves according to procedure.
  • Fills orders from user departments for supplies.
  • Loads truck and delivers supplies and equipment to the Medical Center in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Picks up equipment and supplies from the Medical Center for return to the Warehouse.
  • Answers the telephone and responds to user department requests for assistance.
  • Uses equipment including forklift, pallet jack, delivery truck and step ladders in a safe manner according to policy.

License / Certification Requirements

CA Class C driver’s license or obtain within 6 months if out of state driver’s license
