What will you do?

The Stormwater Engineer supports the delivery of high-quality stormwater and water resources solutions across all markets, including priority Platinum clients, by applying strong expertise in stormwater hydraulics and civil engineering to complex infrastructure projects.

This role contributes to sustainable, climate-resilient infrastructure by integrating technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration to manage flood risk, protect communities, and enhance environmental outcomes while delivering consistent value to clients.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world's economic development and, it's the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'.

  • Degree-qualified in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Skills and experience with the New Zealand, Australia standards or similar.
  • Minimum 5 years design skills with a background and interest in works such as stormwater, water treatment, and natural storm design.
  • Practical knowledge of industry design software such as Hydraulic and Hydrological models- DRAINS, TUFLOW and InfoWorks ICM. GIS platforms- QGIS, ArcGIS and MapInfo. Civil 33D and 12D is an advantage.
  • Preparing technical documentation, including reports, design inputs, and modelling outputs.
