Title: Strategic Communications Lead - HR Technology Work Arrangement: Remote, EST Duration: 12-Month Contract Experience Range: 6-10 years
Our client is seeking a Strategic Communications Lead to design and execute a comprehensive communication and engagement strategy for a major HR technology deployment. This role combines change management expertise with modern content creation and AI-driven tools to drive awareness, understanding, and adoption across the organization.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Develop and execute end-to-end communication and engagement strategy aligned with HR technology rollout timelines and organizational objectives
- Define program narrative and create tailored messaging strategies for distinct stakeholder groups and audiences
- Build and manage integrated communication plan with editorial calendar, ensuring consistent cadence and message alignment across channels
- Create high-quality, compelling content across multiple formats (email, video, infographics, landing pages) to drive adoption and understanding
- Prepare sponsors and people managers with messaging frameworks, talking points, and communication tools to effectively cascade change
- Establish and track measurement strategy for awareness, understanding, adoption, and sentiment to inform course corrections
- Lead communications strategy through go-live and hypercare phases, responding in real-time to employee questions and concerns
- Apply generative AI tools to draft, adapt, and personalize content at scale, and develop reusable AI-assisted templates and workflows for efficiency
Requirements
- 6 10 years of experience in strategic communications, change communications, or employee engagement roles
- Demonstrated expertise in HR technology deployments, change management methodologies, and large-scale transformation communications
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Proficiency with generative AI tools and experience applying AI to content creation and workflow optimization
- Advanced stakeholder management capabilities with ability to influence sponsors, leaders, and cross-functional teams
- Experience developing and executing integrated communication plans with measurement frameworks
- Ability to analyze employee feedback and sentiment at scale and adjust strategy accordingly
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with strong organizational and project management skills
