Strategic Cost Program Manager

Description -

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Cost Program Manager to lead cost optimization and operational excellence for Gaming Solutions. In this role, you will define and execute cross-functional programs aligned to business priorities to deliver cost savings and margin improvement. You will establish scalable governance and processes, translate complex data into clear insights, and keep stakeholders aligned through consistent, effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Program Leadership – Lead cross-functional programs to achieve end-to-end product cost targets (short- and long-term), partnering closely with Product, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, and other key stakeholders. Drive timely, measurable results by removing bottlenecks, accelerating decisions, and delivering cost-saving initiatives. Align teams on priorities, set clear direction, and ensure accountability to deliver with urgency and precision.
  • Product Cost Analytics & Insights – Perform product cost and business analytics to identify trends and generate data-driven insights.Develop dashboards and reporting tools that guide decisions and improve execution outcomes.Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Data Simplification & Storytelling – Interpret complex data and distill it into clear, concise insights. Guide project teams and stakeholders through the project journey using compelling storytelling and simplified data narratives that support informed decision-making.
  • Program Governance & Execution – Establish and maintain PMO governance frameworks, including reporting structures, risk management protocols, and escalation paths. Ensure accountability and transparency throughout the program lifecycle.Lead governance reviews and cadence.Drive resolution of critical issues with senior stakeholders.
  • Process Development, Management, and Optimization – Define and drive standardization, simplification and automation across program workflows. Identify and resolve process inefficiencies.Continuously improve scalable processes that support program execution and governance.Ensure processes are well-documented, repeatable, and aligned with stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – Develop and execute communication strategies that ensure transparency, alignment, and engagement across all stakeholders.Deliver crisp updates, executive summaries, and program dashboards to leadership and cross-functional teams. Build trust and influence across diverse stakeholder groups, including senior leadership and partners. Represent program priorities in executive forums and cross-functional leadership reviews.

Education and Experience:

  • Years of experience: Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience; preferred 10-15 years
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA or relevant technical field)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience leading strategic, cross-functional programs and PMO governance.
  • Proven project management and process design/implementation experience.
  • Track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong command of program and project management methodologies.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Product knowledge is a plus; demonstrated curiosity and a learning mindset are required.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with solid business acumen.
  • Proficiency with business analytics tools and dashboarding/reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead through influence, drive alignment, and navigate ambiguity in complex organizations.
  • Executive presence; able to communicate program strategy and present complex topics with clarity.

The pay range for this role is$130,700to$205,200USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
