What will you contribute?

As a Strategic Talent Sourcer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Finastra’s global Talent Acquisition strategy by identifying, engaging, and cultivating exceptional talent across critical functions, with a strong emphasis on high-demand skill areas. You will be a proactive partner to our TA team and hiring leaders, helping build high-quality pipelines and driving sourcing excellence through both traditional methodologies and cutting-edge, innovative approaches.

Responsibilities & Deliverables

Strategic Partnership & Sourcing Strategy:

  • Collaborate closely with TA Partners and hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, business objectives, and evolving talent needs.

  • Design and execute tailored sourcing strategies for niche, senior, and hard‑to‑fill roles—particularly within AI, engineering, and technology domains.

  • Act as a strategic sourcing advisor, providing insights on talent pools, competitive landscape, and market availability.

Advanced Talent Identification:

  • Utilize diverse sourcing channels—including LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean search, talent intelligence platforms, social media, and community networks—to identify high-caliber prospects.

  • Build, assess, and qualify candidate profiles to ensure alignment with technical and business requirements.

  • Lead outreach and engagement efforts, nurturing interest and building relationships with passive talent.

Pipeline Development & Talent Mapping:

  • Create and manage long-term pipelines for current and future hiring needs, ensuring readiness for key strategic roles.

  • Conduct detailed talent mapping projects for critical skill sets and emerging needs.

  • Maintain accurate, organized pipelines within Finastra’s HRIM/ATS (Workday preferred) to support data-driven decision making.

Data, Insights & Optimization:

  • Track, analyze, and report on sourcing metrics to measure effectiveness and refine strategy.

  • Use data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for continuous improvement in talent acquisition.

  • Stay current on AI-enabled sourcing tools, market insights, and global talent dynamics to enhance sourcing efficiency.

Collaboration & Global Engagement:

  • Communicate effectively and partner with HR, TA Partners, and global TA teams to ensure aligned objectives and consistent execution.

  • Participate in global TA projects, including tool optimization, employer branding initiatives, process evolution, and sourcing innovation.

  • Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting Finastra’s culture, values, and technology vision to the broader talent community.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role in either agency or in-house environments, ideally supporting technical or niche roles.

  • Strong expertise with Boolean search, X-ray search, and LinkedIn Recruiter, with deep knowledge of advanced search capabilities and sourcing best practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships with TA Partners, hiring managers, and candidates.

  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems—Workday strongly preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and adapt to changing priorities.

  • A proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset, with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.

  • Proven ability to build, nurture, and maintain pipelines for both immediate and long-term hiring needs.

  • Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects independently while maintaining high-quality output.
