Description -

Job Summary

HP is seeking a Strategy & Planning Principal to join the Office of the CIO (OCIO). This Principal-level individual contributor plays a critical role in shaping and driving enterprise technology strategy, operating cadence, and execution across highly complex, cross-organization initiatives.The role partners closely with senior leaders across Digital Technology and the business to translate strategy into executable priorities, establish performance mechanisms, and deliver measurable enterprise outcomes.  Specifically, we are looking for a strong candidate that can manage/direct while proactively building program management and executional capability in others. The position organizes and drives critical strategic projects.  The ideal candidate brings deep strategic judgment, strong analytical capability, and the ability to lead through influence in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive enterprise strategy, priorities, and multi-year plans based on data, analysis, and emerging trends.
  • Lead large, cross-functional initiatives that impact long-term organizational goals; drive scope, governance, execution, and results.
  • Design and operate executive-level operating cadence, including strategic reviews, KPIs, dashboards, and performance forums.
  • Establish enterprise metrics and recommend strategies to address performance gaps and risks.
  • Drive process standardization, simplification, and re-engineering to improve speed, clarity, and execution effectiveness.
  • Provide trusted advisory support to Office of the CIO leader through clear communications and recommendations.
  • Lead by influence-staffing and guiding cross-org teams, mentoring others, and enabling consistent execution at scale.
  • Lead change management and enablement by driving organizational transformation and ensure effective adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Drive cross-stakeholder communication and alignment for enterprise process management initiatives.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Engineering, or related field;Typically 10–12+ years of experience in strategy, business planning, consulting, operations, or enterprise transformation roles.

  • Continuous Learning and Adaptation: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices in process management, and emerging technologies. Continuously adapt and evolve strategies to maintain the organization's competitive edge in a dynamic business environment.
  • Story-telling and Executive Presentation skills: Create and deliver executive ready written and verbal communications. Strong listening and influencing skills with Senior Leaders.

Salary

  • The pay range for this role is$137,250-$202,450 USD annually with additional
  • opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
  • States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
  • knowledge, skills, and experience.
