Job Description

Title: Struct & Payload Design Engr Location: San Antonio, TX

Salary Range: $90-100/hr on w2 Contract: 6+ months, possible extension

Introduction

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within the Interiors Development team, focusing on aircraft shipside support and blankets design for a military platform. The role requires proficiency in shipside support, blankets design, and discrepancy disposition, with a strong emphasis on flexibility to meet factory demands.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in insulation and aircraft monument designs
Experience with Catia, Enovia, and IVT for change orders and drawing revisions
Active secret clearance
Ability to work in a controlled area and perform tasks in an austere environment, including climbing scaffolding
Prior work experience in aerospace defense platforms or VIP modifications
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity withprocesses
Experience with military platform modifications
Flexibility for alternate shifts to support factory demands

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Provide Design and Shipside Engineering services for insulation designs and aircraft monument designs
Serve as a Shipside Subject Matter Expert in Insulation Design
Coordinate with suppliers to optimize design and achieve program goals
