JOB TITLE: Structural & Payload Design Engineer 2LOCATION: Long Beach, CAPAY RATE: $62.50/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:
Oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, including Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) efforts.
Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closure.
Apply expertise across the 10 Project Management Knowledge Areas: Integration, Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Resource, Communications, Risk, Procurement, and Stakeholder Management.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation; conduct management and customer reviews.
Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules.
Utilize Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) to monitor and measure project performance.
Build strong relationships with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and facilitate team discussions as needed.
Prioritize, delegate, and track tasks and action items to ensure successful project completion.
Apply risk management tools to identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities.
Develop and execute project plans aligned with objectives defined by project owners and key stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-U.S. equivalent directly related to the work statement.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
2+ years of experience presenting summarized project status, issues, and recommended actions to management and customers.
2+ years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams within Boeing and with external partners.
Experience collecting data, developing performance metrics, and conducting trend analysis.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources and presenting analysis and recommendations to management.
5+ years of experience partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and strategic initiatives.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
Familiarity with Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) Management.
Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and execute projects successfully.
Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to seek information and direction to successfully complete statements of work.
