Job Description
Structural BIM Modeler (Revit) - Structural Engineering- Base Salary to 31.00/hour- Miami, FL
- Our client, a structural engineering consulting firm supporting commercial and industrial construction projects nationwide, is seeking a Structural BIM Modeler to support structural design and documentation efforts from their Miami, FL office.
- This role focuses on developing Revit-based structural models and construction documents for new construction projects in a collaborative engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain structural BIM models using Revit Structure for commercial construction projects
- Produce construction documents (plans, sections, and details) based on engineering designs
- Generate 3D structural models to support design coordination and visualization
- Revise models and drawings based on redlines and engineering feedback
- Coordinate with structural engineers and internal teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables
- Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience using Revit Structure for structural modeling
- Experience producing structural construction documents (CDs)
- Experience working on commercial building projects (e.g., office, retail, multifamily, or similar)
- Understanding of structural systems, including steel and/or concrete construction
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexibility to meet project deadlines
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 26.00 - 31.00/hour range
