JOB TITLE: Structural Design Engineer 2 LOCATION: Wichita, KS PAY RATE: $50/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. Summary: Apply engineering and physical science principles, materials knowledge, and tools in a collaborative environment to develop, integrate, document, and evaluate flight vehicle structures for performance, functional adequacy, cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance. Areas of expertise may include: Primary and secondary structure design Payloads design, weights, and lofting Metallic fuselage structures Requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering required; aerospace/structural engineering preferred Recent commercial structures experience (within the last 10 years) with primary structures focus Experience with commercial OEM programs Proficiency in CATIA, ENOVIA, and Boeing design processes Experience in metallic design, aero structures, product development, and new design Applicants with engineering degrees preferred over drafter/tech designer backgrounds Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
