Job Description
Structural Designer Industrial Projects (Concrete & Steel)Location: Dothan, AL or Jacksonville, FL (In-Office)Type: Contract-to-Direct (Expected conversion within 6 months)Pay: $36$50/hr + overtime (based on experience and education)We are seeking a Structural Designer to support industrial project work involving concrete and steel structures. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on design, working independently, and contributing to a range of industrial projects.What Youll Be Doing
- Design and develop structural drawings for industrial projects
- Create foundation drawings and structural layouts
- Perform rebar spacing and preliminary steel sizing
- Utilize design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support project execution
- Minimum 3+ years of structural design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Working knowledge of:*
- Preliminary steel sizing* *
- Rebar spacing and detailing*
- Experience with industrial projects involving concrete and/or steel
- Ability to work independently in an in-office environment
- Background supporting industries such as:*
- Pulp & Paper* *
- Chemical* *
- Oil & Gas*
- Strong experience with concrete and steel structural projects
