Description

Build your future with a practical, builder-focused structural engineering team that delivers permit-ready solutions for residential and light commercial projects. In this Structural Engineer, PE opportunity, you’ll help ensure critical structural systems meet applicable code and engineering requirements while working on post-frame, pole building, and barndominium projects. The role is based in Dover, DE (onsite preferred), with remote candidates welcome if they can travel onsite once per quarter.

Qualifications and responsibilities for the Structural Engineer, PEposition include:

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with residential and light commercial structural engineering experience
Serve as Engineer of Record for assigned structural engineering projects
Review structural calculations, drawings, and project documentation
Redline drawings and provide clear technical feedback for revisions
Sign, seal, and stamp engineering plans as required
Provide final engineering approval for completed plan sets
Support residential, light commercial, and post-frame/pole building structural projects
Experience with footings, slabs, barndominiums, and related structural systems is helpful

Salary: $150K-$165K total compensation, including base, bonuses, and vehicle allowance per year, commensurate with experience.
