• * Design structures resilient to human use and environmental conditions
• * Configure structures and oversee drawing production
• * Select appropriate foundation, building, and equipment support material
• * Inspect construction work to ensure structural soundness
• * Prepare reports, design criteria, estimates, and drawings
• * Conduct calculations on pressures, loads, and stresses
• * Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction
• * Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval
• * Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers
• * Monitor contractor work for structural integrity
• * Administer small sub-contracts and manage structural projects
• * Inspect geotechnical properties and evaluate foundations
• * Utilize computer-aided design technology for simulation purposes

Qualifications

• * Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• * Licensed Professional Engineer with 3+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer
• * Experience in industrial structural engineering
• * Proficiency in STAAD, AutoCAD, and Revit
• * Familiarity with steel, concrete, and masonry materials
• * Experience in heavy to light industrial projects
• * Knowledge of rotating and vibration analysis
• * Advanced understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
• * Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects and clients
