Job Details

The engineer will collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and test teams to ensure structural performance, durability, and safety across the full product development lifecycle. This position is well suited for engineers who enjoy solving complex structural problems and working on cutting-edge aerospace platforms.

Responsibilities:Perform structural analyses including static, modal, fatigue, and transient simulations to evaluate stress, deformation, and durability.Conduct hand calculations and analytical assessments to validate structural strength, stability, and fatigue life.Develop and evaluate finite element models for metallic and composite structures.Perform conceptual sizing and detailed analysis of composite structures and bonded joints.Support the development of loads and material allowables using test data and published specifications.Collaborate with design engineers to improve structural performance and support product development.Assist with structural testing activities, including test planning, instrumentation, data review, and correlation with analytical results.Produce clear engineering analysis reports documenting assumptions, methodology, and results.Manage analysis tasks to meet technical, cost, and schedule objectives while working within cross-functional teams.

Required QualificationsMust be ITAR Compliant - US Citizen, Permanent Resident or Green Card HolderBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.5–10 years of experience in structural analysis or aerospace engineering.Experience analyzing composite materials and aerospace structures.Strong understanding of structural mechanics, fatigue, and stability analysis.Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as composite molding, machining, or additive manufacturing.Ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment and communicate technical findings clearly.

Preferred ExperienceExperience with finite element tools such as FEMAP or NX Nastran.Familiarity with optimization tools such as Hypersizer.Experience with CAD platforms such as SolidWorks, NX, or CATIA.Background in aircraft, UAV, or advanced aerospace systems.Experience with scripting or analytical tools such as MATLAB or similar platforms.
