Job Description

Our client is seeking a motivated Structural Engineering professional to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful building and infrastructure projects that strengthen communities and enhance the built environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to develop their technical skills while supporting complex structural design projects from concept through completion.

Job Responsibilities -

  • Assist in the design and analysis of building structural systems, including gravity and lateral load-bearing components.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to prepare calculations, models, and drawings that meet project and code requirements.

  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure design integration and accuracy.

  • Support the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and design deliverables using Revit and other modeling tools.

  • Perform construction administration tasks, including site visits, reviewing submittals, and responding to RFIs.

  • Contribute to problem-solving and technical decision-making during project execution.

  • Maintain a high level of quality control, documentation, and communication throughout all project phases.

  • Support continuous improvement efforts and uphold professional and safety standards on every project.

Job Requirements -

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

  • 3-5 years of experience in the structural design and preparation of construction documents.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred (or eligibility within one year).

  • Proficiency with structural design and analysis software such as RISA, RAM, and ETABS.

  • Working knowledge of design codes including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI.

  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite and Bluebeam.

  • Experience with Revit and coordination of structural drawings.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
