This role is responsible for laying out, fitting, assembling, and tack welding structural steel components according to blueprints and project specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards.The ideal Structural Fitter Welder has strong fabrication experience, excellent blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop environment.Required Experience & Skills 2+ years of structural fitting or fabrication experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols Strong math and measurement skills using tape measures, squares, levels, and other layout tools Experience using hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, and fabrication equipment Ability to fit and align structural steel components accurately Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIREDEssential Duties & Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout specifications Measure, mark, and position structural components for assembly Fit and align steel parts including beams, columns, plates, and structural assemblies Tack weld components in preparation for final welding operations Operate cutting equipment including torches, plasma cutters, grinders, and related tools Verify proper fit-up and maintain required tolerances per specifications Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment Follow all company safety policies and proceduresPhysical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work on your feet for extended periods Ability to work in a fabrication shop and industrial environment Comfortable working around welding, cutting, and fabrication equipmentWork Environment Structural steel fabrication and manufacturing environment Exposure to welding equipment, cutting tools, overhead cranes, and heavy materials Fast-paced production environment focused on quality and productivity Overtime opportunities available on Fridays and occasional SaturdaysWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Four-day primary workweek schedule Consistent overtime opportunities available Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Hands-on structural steel fabrication work Opportunity to grow with an established fabrication teamReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text us at 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also walk in and apply at:1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PMStand-By Personnel
