Lead Structural WelderPay:$23.00 per hour(DOE $22.00 $25.00/hour)Location:Sapulpa, OK 74066Shift:Choose Your Shift:1st Shift: Monday Friday | 5: 00 AM 3: 30 PM2nd Shift: Monday Friday | 4: 00 PM 12: 30 AMJob Type:Temp-to-HireJob Order #:126384Position OverviewStand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Lead Structural Welder to oversee daily welding operations while performing high-quality structural welding in a busy fabrication facility in Sapulpa. This leadership position combines hands-on welding responsibilities with mentoring, quality control, and production oversight to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.The ideal candidate has extensive structural welding experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to producing exceptional workmanship while helping develop and support fellow welders.Required Experience & Skills Proven experience performing structural welding Previous lead or supervisory welding experience preferred Strong knowledge of structural welding techniques, equipment, and safety standards Experience performing quality control inspections on completed welds Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and leadership abilities Reliable attendance and strong work ethicEssential Duties & Responsibilities Perform structural welding according to engineering drawings, welding procedures, and customer specifications Lead and support welders on the production floor while promoting productivity and teamwork Conduct quality control inspections to verify weld integrity and compliance with company standards Train, mentor, and coach welding personnel on best practices, quality expectations, and safety procedures Troubleshoot welding issues and implement corrective actions when necessary Ensure all work complies with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Collaborate with supervisors and management to meet production schedules and project deadlines Assist with additional fabrication and leadership responsibilities as assignedPreferred Qualifications AWS or equivalent welding certifications Previous experience in heavy fabrication or structural steel manufacturing Experience leading teams and improving production efficiency Strong understanding of fabrication processes and welding quality standardsPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift Ability to safely work around welding equipment, heavy steel, heat, sparks, and industrial machinery while wearing required PPE Comfortable working in a physically demanding fabrication environmentWork Environment Heavy industrial fabrication and manufacturing facility Exposure to welding equipment, fabrication machinery, overhead cranes, heat, noise, and heavy steel materials Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork Leadership role with opportunities to influence production performance and team developmentWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive pay ranging from $22.00 $25.00/hour based on experienceChoice of first or second shift to fit your schedule Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Weekly pay Opportunity to lead an experienced welding team in a growing fabrication facility Excellent career advancement potential in welding leadership and manufacturing operationsReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
