Structural Welder 2nd ShiftPay:Starting at $20.00 per hour(DOE)+ $2.00/hour Shift DifferentialLocation:Sapulpa, OK 74066Shift:Monday Friday | 4: 30 PM 3: 00 AMJob Type:Temp-to-HireJob Order #:126253Position OverviewStand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Structural Welder to join a growing fabrication team in Sapulpa. This position focuses on welding structural steel components for industrial fabrication projects while maintaining strict quality, safety, and production standards.The ideal candidate has strong MIG and Flux Core welding experience, can interpret fabrication drawings, and consistently produces high-quality structural welds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Required Experience & Skills Minimum 2 years of structural welding experience required Experience performing MIG (GMAW) and Flux Core (FCAW) welding on structural steel Ability to successfully complete required weld tests Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding specifications Fitting experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable attendance and strong work ethicEssential Duties & Responsibilities Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on structural steel components Assemble and weld fabricated structures according to engineering specifications Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding procedures Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy Maintain productivity while meeting company quality standards Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures Follow all company welding procedures, quality requirements, and OSHA safety standards Assist with additional fabrication duties as assignedWeld Test RequirementsCandidates must successfully complete:2G MIG Horizontal Weld Test(Bend Test)2G Flux Core Weld Test(Radiograph/X-Ray) -inch Plate Double-Bevel Weld with Backing BarPreferred Qualifications Structural steel fabrication experience Previous experience fitting and assembling heavy steel components Knowledge of AWS structural welding standards Experience working in heavy industrial manufacturing environmentsPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift Ability to safely operate welding equipment while wearing required PPE Comfortable working around heavy steel, welding fumes, sparks, heat, and industrial machineryWork Environment Heavy industrial fabrication and manufacturing facility Fast-paced production environment focused on quality, productivity, and safety Exposure to welding equipment, heavy steel materials, overhead cranes, and fabrication machinery Second-shift schedule with overtime opportunities as production demands requireWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay of $20.00/hour with higher pay based on experienceAdditional $2.00/hour shift differential Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to work on structural steel fabrication projects with a growing team Stable manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement and continued skill developmentReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
