JOB TITLE: Structures & Payload Design Engineer 3LOCATION:San Antonio, TXPAY RATE: $73.75/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:
Represents design engineering organization to interpret engineering drawings and provide clarification on engineering intent to mechanics, operations leaders, liaison, manufacturing, industrial engineering, quality, and program management.
Provides cross-team engineering integration and drives design maturity through development, modification, and test phases of VC-25B major aircraft modification.
Monitors overall build and sequence for alignment with design intent and provides technical recommendations for re-sequencing of jobs, work-breakdown structure, and precedence network.
Assists in rapid execution of engineering drawing revisions as response to production build.
Supports mechanics with engineering input for improvements or clarifications.
Supports change integration and impact assessments for the build.
Communicates and executes engineering prioritization within each zone.
Leads research of technical, operational and quality issues and recommends engineering solutions.
Supports Air Vehicle Integrated Product Team (IPT) across all zones as Zonal Task Leader.
Works shipside engineering integration for VC-25B production build lifecycle from build to delivery.
Requirements:
Ability to Obtain Secret Security Clearance.
Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited course of study in engineering or engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology).
2+ years of experience in product engineering or production operations.
2+ years of experience in military or commercial program support.
Preferred: 5 or more years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred: Active Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred: 2 or more years related Shipside Engineering Support.
