This role sits at the intersection of technology, brand, and strategy, collaborating with other designers across disciplines and sectors. You'll contribute to a wide range of project types, including exhibits, workplace, hospitality, retail, and experiential environments, helping shape how brands come to life through physical and digital touchpoints.
This is a full-time program running from June 2 through August 7, 2026. You must be available for the entire duration of the program. This is not a remote position.
What You Will Do
Contribute to the design of integrated brand and digital experiences, including digital media, interactive moments, and spatial storytelling
Support project work across multiple phases, from concept and visioning through design development and production
Collaborate closely with brand designers, digital experience designers, architects, interior designers, and strategists to create cohesive, experience-led solutions
Participate in experience mapping and narrative development that bridges brand strategy and spatial design
Visualize design solutions through motion studies, sketches, diagrams, models, and prototypes
Gain exposure to designing at architectural scale, including an understanding of drawings, coordination, and real-world implementation
Work with fellow interns on a student-led project serving the local community
Your Qualifications
You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Communication Design, Interaction Design, Digital Media, Design Technology, or another relevant program. Interior Design and Architecture coursework is also a bonus.
You have completed your third year of an undergraduate program or first year of a graduate program and are returning to your program post-internship. This internship is not for recent graduates.
Demonstrate a strong grasp of the fundamentals of design - including color theory, typography, composition, scale, and motion.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Figma.
Experience with Blender and Cinema 4D is a plus.
Your Additional Characteristics
Demonstrated leadership ability in school and/or community
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
Resourceful, self-motivated, enthusiastic team player
Outstanding analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
How to Apply
Submit an online application including a resume, cover letter, and portfolio in PDF form. If you choose to submit a link to an online portfolio, you must make sure it is not password protected and that it contains a resume, cover letter, and work samples. Submissions made in Microsoft Word and/or without work samples will not be considered.
This posting will remain open until early March 2026.
Please note that applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and available positions may be filled before the posting closes.
This is a paid internship at the rate of $28 - $31 per hour based upon location and year completed in your educational program.
