What You'll Do

As a Student Rad Tech at Saint Alphonsus, you'll work alongside experienced imaging professionals in a fast‑paced, supportive environment where learning is encouraged and curiosity is celebrated. Under appropriate supervision, you will:

• Assist with diagnostic imaging procedures, including patient positioning and exam preparation

• Provide compassionate, professional care to patients of all ages

• Learn and apply radiation safety practices and imaging protocols

• Observe and support workflow in a busy radiology department

• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and care teams

• Build confidence while strengthening your technical and interpersonal skills

Skills, Knowledge, Education & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Current enrollment in an ARRT‑acknowledged Radiologic Technology program

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification at time of hire

Passion for patient care and a strong desire to learn in a clinical environment

• Effective communication skills and a positive, team‑oriented approach
