The Bradley School is seeking compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Student Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced educators to support student learning, promote positive behavior, and help create a safe and engaging classroom environment.

As a Student Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping students reach their full intellectual, social, and emotional potential while celebrating their unique strengths and abilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support individualized student learning and classroom instruction
  • Assist with planning and facilitating classroom activities
  • Foster a positive, structured, and therapeutic learning environment
  • Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development
  • Ensure the safety, well-being, and success of all students
  • Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to meet student needs

Qualifications Best Suited for the Position:

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the initiative to anticipate needs and take appropriate action.
  • Strong ability to build meaningful, trusting relationships with children, fostering positive social, emotional, and behavioral development.
  • Patient, adaptable, and creative in supporting students, meeting them at their individual pace and level of development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, and team members.
  • Professional, dependable, and ethical, demonstrating sound judgment, reliability, and a strong commitment to excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 48 college credits in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field required
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
